Who: All children ages 16
and under, and the LHS Class of 2006
When: Saturday, June 4, 2011
Where: Wilson Lake (Lenox), south side
shelter house. Click HERE for
directions to the lake.
Time: Sign-in and meal at 12:30 p.m., fishing from
1:30 until 3 p.m., and prizes awarded around 3:30 p.m.
Cost: Food, drinks, numerous prizes, and 10
different trophies are all FREE!
All children 12 years of age and under
must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parents/guardians will be required to sign in the children they
are responsible for. The idea is for parents and their kids to
enjoy the day together!
The weekend of the 6th is a free fishing weekend in the state
of Iowa and a fishing license is NOT required for Iowa
residents, so we encourage all parents to attend and fish with
their kids!
There will be three age groups, with a reserved area of
fishing for the youngest group. Trophies will be awarded in all
three groups as well as a trophy for the largest fish.
"Goodie bags" of lures and prizes will be handed out
to the first 100 kids
signed in, but we do ask that you bring your
own fishing pole and a bucket or stringer for your fish.
If you have any questions or would be interested in being a
sponsor of this year's event, contact Evan Thompson at
641-413-0035. ALL donations are put back in to the tournament.
Directions: From J-13/Van Buren
Street in Lenox: turn south on Home Avenue and continue south,

that will be posted on the corners!
